Dag Aakvik
Dag is a staff engineer on the Barkpark search and graph team. He built the Postgres tsvector search index, the relevance weighting that ranks titles above body text, and the Indx retriever seam that lets the content graph answer questions instead of just storing them. Dag is the person who reads the EXPLAIN output for fun. He writes about search internals, indexing strategy, graph edges between documents, and the unglamorous performance work that makes a CMS feel instant.
